10 Second App turns a short idea from the iPhone app into a public web app. This page explains what the service needs to handle that request and what users can control.
What We Collect
- Short typed ideas or edited transcripts submitted to create a generated app.
- Short audio recordings stay local to the native iPhone app for on-device transcription. The backend receives the editable text transcript for generation.
- Generated app records, including title, summary, public URL, generated app content, build status, and share artwork.
- Some generated apps may let users take or choose a photo. Source photos may be sent to our server and AI/moderation providers to perform the requested image action, but 10 Second App does not intentionally retain the original source photo after servicing that request.
- A device-scoped owner token so the app can show My Apps and let the creator delete their own generated apps without accounts.
- Optional email addresses when a user requests an email when a generated app is ready.
- Report details submitted when a user flags a generated app for moderation review.
How We Use Data
We use submitted ideas to moderate, generate, publish, and support the requested web app. When a generated app sends a source photo for an image action, we use it to moderate and process that image request. We use build and report records to operate the service, troubleshoot failures, respond to objectionable content reports, and improve reliability.
Public Generated Apps
Generated apps are public web artifacts. Anyone with the link can open the generated app. Do not submit private, sensitive, or confidential information in prompts or generated apps.
Local Device Data
The native iPhone app stores device-scoped app list information and settings locally so My Apps, notification preferences, and privacy choices can work without accounts.
Service Providers
The service may use infrastructure and AI providers to generate app content, transform source photos when requested, create artwork, host public app URLs, and persist app records. Secrets and provider credentials are kept server-side and are not exposed to generated apps.
Deletion And Reports
Creators can delete their own generated apps from My Apps. Any user can report a generated app that appears abusive, unsafe, infringing, or otherwise objectionable. Reports are reviewed for moderation action.
